Registration will open March 1st, 2024 and will close on July 13th, 2024.
RACE ENTRY COST & WHAT YOUR RACE ENTRY INCLUDES
-$40.00 for the boat captain
-$10 for each additional person on the boat
-$50.00 for a Kwikie Kit- you pick up supplies on race day and make a quick boat
EVERYONE ON TEAM GETS
- Cardboard Regatta swag to first 200 racers to sign up
- Pirate stickers/ pirate swag
- Boat building supplies. Pick these up starting May 11th at the Main Beach garage. 9 am to 3 pm
- Boat building directional class hosted at Main Beach on June 11th, 9 am to 1 pm

All profits go towards building a Crystal Lake community Ball Hockey rink.

If you want to put your pirate cap on and build your own design, you are welcome to. Just follow the rules. Click here to see the rules.
Class A – Boats propelled by any kind of rowing oars, canoe, or Kayak paddles
Class B – Boats powered by all other kinds of people power, including people powered air or water propellers, water wheels, bicycle type drives, etc.
Class C – Sailboats—any size, style or amount of sail.
Class D – Kwiki Boat – Boats built by spectator-sailors on site. These magnificent crafts will be put together using a kit containing the necessary materials and tools. There is no time limit—just finish by the start of your race. All material will be supplied in kits. No other material may be used in the construction of the Kwiki boats. Paddles, oars, or other means of propulsion are not supplied. (No motors please!)
Class K – Kids aged 5 through 12 years will participate on a special shortened, shallow-water course. Participation rather than competition will be emphasized, with a prize for each contestant.
BOAT AND CREW SIZE
Boats must be somewhere in between a doll’s bathtub and the Titanic in size. However, the maximum crew size is 10.

WHERE DO I PARK?
Parking is directly across from Main Beach. Admission to the Regatta is $5.00 per person. Your race entry comes with one admission to the beach per registered person. Have your confirmation ready at the entrance.
